Help for Self-Rep. is an initiative of Perry Legal Services law firm. We support people who are, or who want to represent themselves, by providing them with legal services tailored to their situation. We provide, for example, advice, document review/interpretation, dispute resolution services, or whatever legal service we agree to provide based upon your specific needs. An initial consultation is not a guarantee that we can help, but it allows us to connect to discuss your specific matter to see if we can help you. The $60 initial consultation fee must be paid in full before your appointment will be scheduled. The initial consultation will last for up to 20 minutes. This is, in our experience, plenty of time to determine if we can help. If we can help, you will receive a flat fee price quote for our services. As we are North Carolina licensed attorneys only, we do not provide advice, assistance, or services for legal matters unless they are related to the State of North Carolina, the federal district courts for North Carolina, or the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. We use secure file transmission and communication providers to discuss your matter with you, and do so remotely, as a virtual law office. All requests to schedule a consultation must be made using the submission form on this website. Upon receiving and reviewing your submission, we will respond with information that allows you to pay for and to schedule the initial consultation at your convenience.
